Food Photography
|
Like some Product Photography, Food Photography is a direct extension of the Fine Art and Still Life Photography that I have done for many years. The styling and arrangement of the items is many times more important than the photography itself. How the items arranged and presented is a major concern in creating truly mouth watering images.
After styling, lighting and depth of field are primary considerations. Lighting and camera settings will determine whether the completed images have a crisp, crafted look or a soft moody style. The most important part of food photography is careful planning of what items you are going to shoot, what “look” you want, and how those will be achieved.
