Centier Bank in Merrillville IN is one of my favorite projects. As you will see from this small sampling of the all the photos from the project it was a very challenging and interesting assignment. The design of the building and the interior design was done by The Troyer Group of Mishawaka IN http://www.troyergroup.com/ . They asked me to capture the full extent of this very large project.

My first goal was to insure that I caught the full extent of the dynamic design of the exterior of the building. I had scouted the site several times during the last stages of construction and knew that the personality of the striking design changed dramatically as the sun moved across the sky and then faded to twilight. I was able to devote an entire day to shooting the exterior, from late morning until nearly 11:00pm, in order to capture how the look of the building changed as the sun moved. The last shots of the day remain my favorites as the exterior lighting gains strength in relation to the fading sunlight.

A second full day was needed to photograph the interior spaces that Troyer Group created. I worked with the interior designer from Troyer moving from area to area to photography over 30 distinct spaces. Each space presented a unique challenge because of the large windows in most areas combined with the wide variety of spaces featuring many different colors, textures, designs and uses.
