Interior Design Photography
While still a type of Architectural Photography, photographing interiors presents a unique type of challenges and considerations. Lighting interior shots in an effective but subtle man
ner is one of the most complex tasks that a photographer faces. Composition and perspective become more complex considerations when working to capture the key aspects of an interior project in series of photographs.
On numerous occasions the success of interior photography is rooted in the sense of what to exclude from an image more than the ability to capture an entire project in a wide angle view. The blend of color, shape, and texture of detail shots are many times as important as the overall layout of a project.
I recognize the challenges that Interior Photography creates and work with clients to understand what aspects of each project are the real heart of the design. I take pride in applying my creative skills to capture the individual personality of each interior project in striking and inviting images.
I would enjoy the opportunity to work with you in planning how we can capture the creativity of your design and planning in photos of your interior design and decorating projects.
